Highschool of The Dead Season 2: Release Date?

The first season of Highschool of The Dead premiered on July 5th, 2010 with the finale aired on September 20th, 2010. In the same year, a special episode was also released for the fans. But ever since then, there have been no new developments, even though the fans have been waiting eagerly for more than a decade to know the continuity of the main characters, since the finale was a cliff-hanger and they have been waiting for answers. From what has been spread around the fanbase, the finale was done because it is time for the finale, but they are smoothly doing cancelation.
Given the fact that one of their writers passed away, the story itself seemed to have no more development. This being said because there are still three other volumes in the manga series, which actually can be done for Highschool of The Dead Season 2. But, some factors blocked the chances to continue the anime series. The illustrators are told that they don't want to continue the series. Not only that, Madhouse (Overlord, No Game No Life), the production house from Highschool of The Dead is now focusing on other animes which make it even clearer that Highschool of The Dead won't be continuing the series in manga or anime.
This fact alone made fans worldwide get hanged by the finale of season 1. Not only did they miss the storyline of Highschool of The Dead, but they are also waiting for answers on the finale itself. The classic story of a zombie apocalypse and also the visually pleasing characters with their spice of attitude made this anime series even more missed by its spectators.
Other anime by Madhouse studio which fans are waiting for a new season are Death Parade, Hunter x Hunter, Alderamin on the Sky, Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card, Diamond no Ace & All Out.
